Website monitoring for people who look after websites

Know when your sites need you.

Mage Watcher checks your websites from multiple US regions, confirms outages before emailing you, and keeps every client’s sites in one clear view.

Available through Press Mage. Created and operated by CSP Geeks LLC.

  • Checks as often as every minute
  • Multi-region confirmation
  • Email outage and recovery alerts

Intervals and regions depend on your plan and configuration.

Your whole portfolio. Problems first.

See which sites are up, degraded or down. Keep client websites together, spot SSL warnings, and open an incident without hunting through separate tools.

One failed check shouldn’t become a fire drill.

Mage Watcher asks other monitoring regions to verify a failure before it opens a confirmed incident and sends an outage email.

  1. Step 01

    A region spots a problem.

A failed website check starts investigation.

  2. Step 02

    Other regions check too.

At least two separate regions must agree before an outage is confirmed.

  3. Step 03

    You get a clearer signal.

Confirmed incidents trigger your configured email rules. Recovery is verified too.

If another region finds the site up, the failure is recorded as a false alarm without an outage email. Checks currently run from US regions: West, Central and Dallas. Available regions depend on your plan.

Follow the incident timeline, see regional verification, review notification history, and add notes as you investigate. When service returns, the record stays together.

See what your visitors saw.

With Web Images enabled, capture website screenshots on a schedule or around failures and incidents. Keep visual evidence alongside the event.

Web Images requires an eligible plan or Image Capture add-on and a capture-enabled region.

Built around the clients you look after.

Group sites by customer or application. Keep hosting details, contacts and internal notes close, then route email alerts to the people responsible for that group.

Practical benefits

  • Catch certificate expiry early.

Email warnings at 30, 14, 7, 3 and 1 days before SSL expiry help you act before renewal becomes urgent.

  • Keep the right people informed.

Send outage, recovery and SSL emails to named recipient lists, with group-specific rules and optional still-down reminders.

  • Make monthly reporting routine.

Review monthly availability figures and receive a monthly PDF report by email. False alarms are excluded from downtime calculations.

A clearer status update for your clients.

Publish a public status page for any group. Choose a detailed page that lists each monitor by name, or an anonymous page that shows overall health without names or URLs. Add an optional password, and the page refreshes every minute.

Questions, answered.

When a monitoring region sees a failure, other regions check immediately. An incident is confirmed when at least two separate regions agree the site is down. A failure contradicted by an up result is recorded as a false alarm without an outage email.

You can configure checks as often as every minute. Detection and email timing also depend on verification, request timeouts and any alert delay you set. A one-minute interval is not a one-minute alert guarantee.

Current monitoring regions are in the US: West, Central and Dallas. Region access and counts depend on your plan.

By email. Configure named recipient lists, rules by group or monitor, recovery notices and optional still-down reminders.

Web Images requires a plan with image capture or the Image Capture add-on, plus capture-enabled monitoring regions. Storage is plan-dependent.
